Rachael Smith

Originally from Lancaster PA, Rachael immediately grew to love dance from a young age. She began training in all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical, tap, hiphop, contemporary, pointe, and partnering. Through out her training she had the pleasure of working with a performance company, as well as several other intensives. Rachael continued her dance training after high school and attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. In 2021, Rachael graduated with a B.F.A in Dance Performance & Choreography, and a minor in Accounting. Following graduation, Rachael moved to North Carolina and joined a professional ballet company located in Wilmington. Rachael spent two years with the company before moving to Southport. Rachael can’t wait to begin her time with IDC and is eager to help develop the next generation of artists!
