Dancing on Air

Ballet in our Community

Dancing on Air is in its 4th season of offering free weekly dance classes to communities across the county. We have worked with the Calabash, Cedar Grove, Navassa communities in collaboration with Wilmington Ballet, Brunswick Ballet & Inspirations Dance Studio to offer weekly classes in Navassa (Monday evenings) and Cedar Grove (Wednesday evenings). Funding for this program is received from NC Arts Council, Brunswick County, Leland Rotary Club with donation of in-kind supplies and ballet shoes from Sansha and Inspirations Dance Centre. Classes have been put on hiatus due to Covid19. We are exploring opportunities to restart this program as soon as it is safe to sustain long term contact inside.
