There are no particular requirements
for jazz, tap, modern, clogging, acrobatics, Irish step or adult classes except that all students must
wear dance practice attire and the appropriate shoes for the class they
are taking with a neat secure hairstyle that will not interfere with or
inhibit their dancing. Street clothing, boxers, cheer shorts or soffes, T-shirts or
dangling jewelry are not permitted in class.
ballet
In keeping with the
tradition of classical ballet, all ballet students are
required to wear a black leotard,
"ballet pink" (a peachy color also called salmon or European
pink) tights, and ballet slippers. All hair must be
securely pinned into a bun. Male ballet students must
wear black dance pants or tights along with a solid white
T-shirt, socks and ballet shoes.
